Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a reputable and well-established business in Doncaster as they look to bring a new Finance Business Partner into the team. The role will be based at the Head Office in Central Doncaster but will offer a hybrid working model, with the ability to work from home 2 days a week.

As a Finance Business Partner,  you’ll provide support for the preparation of financial analysis and guidance to support decision making within the Sales and Productions teams. Within the role, you’ll business partner with our Account Managers and Contract Delivery Managers to analyse financial results, manage the budgeting and forecasting process and focus on profit driven results.

Duties will include: 

  • Business partnering with Account Managers and Contract Delivery Managers to ensure financial targets are achieved
  • Support and develop greater financial awareness and understanding within functional Sales & Production Management Teams
  • Conduct relevant financial analysis to support decision making on profitability and effective cost control
  • Support the delivery of the Mid Term Planning process (MTP) for relevant Sales account managers and Production managers
  • Preparation of month end reports, commentaries, and reporting packs, to demonstrate an understanding of the cause of variances
  • Support the continuous improvement of Flow Profitability reporting and analysis
  • Highlight adverse variances to functional management and recommend actions

To be successful, you will ideally have the following skills and experiences: 

  • Part CIMA/ ACCA qualified would be a distinct advantage although Qualified by Experience candidates will be considered for this role
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with all stakeholders within the business
  • A proactive, self-starting attitude  
  • Solutions focused with the ability to motivate change where needed
  • A strategic thought process, thinking about the business to drive continuous improvement
  • Ability to positively challenge business partners and stakeholders
  • High level of accuracy within your work
  • Experience in a Business Partner capacity within a mid to large company would be desirable, but not essential
