Your new companyHays Senior Finance is delighted to be partnering with a key client in the Doncaster region to recruit an experienced Finance Director to oversee financial operations to help the organisation succeed. You will possess a strong background in financial accounting, management, and planning, with a proven track record in cost control. As a key member of the SLT, you will be responsible for developing financial strategies that align with key business objectives while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Your new role

  • Oversee all financial operations, including budgets, forecasting and reporting
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to enhance operational performance
  • Manage the predation of financial statements and ensure accuracy in reporting
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, helping drive their personal development
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards
  • Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with operational objectives
  • Monitor and evaluate the companies' financial performance, providing detailed reports to stakeholders and the board
  • Assist the business with procuring improved services and improving operational costs
  • Understanding commercial contracts and maximising opportunities
  • Producing monthly management accounts and presenting to the board

What you'll need to succeedProven experience in senior financial leadership roles, preferably as a Financial Director.
