The Role

As the Finance Director, you will:

  • Lead a longstanding and capable finance function, fostering excellence in all financial operations.
  • Be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), providing strategic direction and insight to drive business growth and performance.
  • Partner directly with the Managing Director as a trusted business advisor, supporting decision-making across the organisation.
  • Play an instrumental role in commercial activity, including participation in all new bids and tenders.
  • Leverage expertise in multi-site operations (preferred but not essential) and potentially M&A activity to capitalise on growth opportunities.
Your Expertise

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a finance team while ensuring operational excellence.
  • Experience in a PE-backed or high-growth environment.
  • A strategic mindset, coupled with strong financial acumen.
  • Multi-site experience (highly desired, but not essential).
  • M&A experience (advantageous, but not mandatory).
  • The ability to travel within the UK as required.
