Operations Manager - Doncaster - c£45k to £55k (neg) + Excellent Benefits Package
Due to some exciting changes, this established insurance broker is looking to add an Operations Manager to work closely with the Head of Commercial to oversee the support function which consists of 12 people, made up by a Team Leader, Account Handlers and Administrators.
Placing c£15m GWP as a department, with the expectation of reaching £20m by April 2025, this is a fantastic time to be joining the team. As a team they support local and regional Account Executives with the servicing and retention of their clients, placing risks with leading insurers & MGA's, and working closely with the in-house claims team when required.
Key Duties:
- Work closely with the Head of Commercial to oversee the broking function
- Build on insurer relationships and put a formal placement strategy in place
- Assess current processes and procedures and make any necessary changes to improve efficiency
- Manage any on-going projects within the commercial function
- Ensure compliance levels are maintained with the pace of growth
- Manage multiple processes at once, whilst ensuring the business continue to evolve as they grow
- Technical development of the team, ensuring retention and growth targets are reached, and the distribution of workloads
- Sit in on board meetings and be a part of a driven leadership team
- Responsible for a small selection of larger clients alongside the Head of Commercial
- Support local and regional Account Executives with the servicing and retention of their clients, placing risks with leading insurers & MGA's, and working closely with the in-house claims team when required
