NJR Recruitment is delighted to be working with a well established firm of Independent Financial Planners who are looking to expand their advising team in South Yorkshire.

This role will suit an experienced Advisor who has delivered face to face advice on a variety of financial products, including Pensions and Investments, in an independent setting. The role includes generating new business as well as maintaining an existing bank of provided clients

As an employed Adviser your duties will include

  • Building long lasting relationships with existing and new clients
  • Gather, analyse, and document all information needed to provide financial advice
  • Research and analyse all suitable solutions available to meet the client’s needs
  • Keep client records up to date
  • Maintain a high level of regular client contact, providing advice where required and ensuring a strong client service to complement the annual review service

What we need from you:

  • Previous experience providing independent advice on Whole of Market products including Pensions, Investments and Protection products
  • At least hold a Level 4 diploma in Financial Services although Chartered status would be favourable
  • Be both servicing and growth-focused to take over clients, build upon existing strong client relationships and develop new business opportunities.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills as well as a high attention to detail.
  • High levels of commercial awareness.
  • Ability to explain complex information simply and clearly
  • Strong knowledge of all financial planning with a specific focus on holistic financial planning
