We are seeking a dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our vibrant 2 form entry school, featuring an open plan EYFS department. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children with SEN and adapting resources and activities to meet diverse needs.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) by adapting teaching methods and resources.
  • Engage in daily activities within an open plan EYFS department, ensuring a stimulating learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff to plan and coordinate activities that cater to the developmental needs of all children.
  • Monitor and assess children’s progress, adapting strategies as needed to support individual learning outcomes.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organised environment that fosters learning and development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in an EYFS setting.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and experience supporting children with SEN.
  • Ability to create and adapt resources to enhance children’s learning experiences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with staff, children, and parents.
  • A proactive and creative approach to teaching and learning.
