Role Overview: Join our team to help residents access the Home Alarm Service, allowing vulnerable individuals to stay safely at home using assistive technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on a flexible rota, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Follow safety and customer care procedures.
  • Use IT systems for equipment installation and maintenance.
  • Respond to telecare alarms and provide emergency assistance.
  • Install, test, and maintain assistive technology in homes.
  • Coordinate with emergency services when needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • QCF Level 2 or relevant Social Care qualification.
  • Experience in health and social care with adults.
  • Understanding of service users’ physical, social, and emotional needs.
  • Good communication skills and ability to write reports.
  • Knowledge of Dementia, Safeguarding Adults, and Health & Safety.
  • Valid UK diving licence and ability to travel around the borough.
  • Fluent in English for customer interactions.
