Role Overview:Â Join our team to help residents access the Home Alarm Service, allowing vulnerable individuals to stay safely at home using assistive technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on a flexible rota, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Follow safety and customer care procedures.
- Use IT systems for equipment installation and maintenance.
- Respond to telecare alarms and provide emergency assistance.
- Install, test, and maintain assistive technology in homes.
- Coordinate with emergency services when needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
- QCF Level 2 or relevant Social Care qualification.
- Experience in health and social care with adults.
- Understanding of service users’ physical, social, and emotional needs.
- Good communication skills and ability to write reports.
- Knowledge of Dementia, Safeguarding Adults, and Health & Safety.
- Valid UK diving licence and ability to travel around the borough.
- Fluent in English for customer interactions.
