People Solutions is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for a client in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, with a pay rate ranging from £15.68 to £24.52 per hour depending on shifts and overtime.
The role requires a minimum of 24 months of experience driving CE vehicles and offers ongoing work with the potential for permanent employment.
Drivers are expected to perform trunk runs, curtain side work, and conduct vehicle inspections while adhering to company policies and driving regulations.
Shifts are available Monday to Friday, with day starts between 04:00 - 08:00 and night starts between 15:00 - 18:00.

Rates of Pay

Days - £15.68 per hour basic / £23.52 per hour overtime after 48 hours
Nights - £16.68 per hour basic / £24.52 per hour overtime after 48 hours

Day to Day Duties

Trunk runs to depots
Curtain side work
Positive 'can do' attitude
Drive Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
Follow Company policies and procedures
Comply with Driving rules and regulations
Conduct vehicle inspections and report any faults to management

Essential Skills

Hold a valid UK Category CE Driving Licence
Hold a valid UK CPC and UK Digital Tachograph Card
Have a minimum of 24 months experience driving CE vehicles
Maximum of six penalty points with no major endorsement codes
Work in a professional manner
Excellent communication skills

Desirable Experience

Experience of working on a general haulage contract is desirable but not essential

Training

Written and driving assessment will be required
