Position: Cover Supervisor

About Us:
Join our dynamic and supportive team, a leading secondary academy located in the heart of Doncaster. Our academy is committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive. We are seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join us for the upcoming academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring that students remain on task with their learning activities.
Manage classroom behaviour in accordance with the school's policies and procedures.
Support students in their learning by providing guidance and assistance with set work.
Liaise with teaching staff to ensure a smooth transition and continuity of education for students.
Assist with administrative tasks as required.
Requirements:
Experience working with secondary school students, preferably in an educational setting.
Strong classroom management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to the safeguarding and well-being of students.
Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the varying needs of the academy.
Qualifications:
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
Relevant experience in education or a related field is highly desirable.
A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one prior to starting).
