WINNER are currently recruiting for a door veneer specialist Operative in DN9, Doncaster for a bespoke joinery and fire door company.
Monday-Friday 08:00-17:30 (Early finish on a Friday)
Up to £13 per hour depending on experience.
Please note: The job is located outsdie of Doncaster in DN9 meaning it is diffucult to travel on public transport. Ideally someone with a drivers license or who lives locally enough to travel. Please check location before applying.
The Operative works closely with all team members and company management. Working through daily plans, checking order schedules, identifying and rectifying issues. Continuous improvement is essential to minimise delays and increase efficiency. Daily tasks include glazing doors, fitting ironmongery, sanding doors and using a range of hand and power tools.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Order Review working closely with Team Leader
• Training new employees where required
• General housekeeping
• Increase efficiency of department
• Corrective/Preventive action – work with all departments to report and prevent wasted/down time
• Ensure Health and Safety practices are observed
- Any other reasonable duties that might be needed from time to time to assist the company in attaining its business objectives.
