FP&A Analyst | Doncaster | £40,000 + benefits
The Opportunity
Rapid growth group amid an exciting VC-backed scale-up. You’ll join the recently established FP&A / Finance Business Partnering team. The focus is building the bridge between finance and the rest of the business - really interesting and commercially focused remit.
You’ll be interacting really closely with ops and commercial managers across the group - bringing your insightful finance lens to problems and bottlenecks. It’s a chance to use your analytical skills and your communication skills in harmony…. An opportunity to deliver MI to the business, impacting decision making and change.
So you’ll slice the data to drill into margins, drivers of revenue and profit, cost trends, areas of inefficiency and waste, areas of overperformance, opportunities for growth…. Hugely valuable and rewarding finance business partnering at a relatively early stage of your career.
You are likely currently an Assistant Management Accountant or Junior FBP progressing through CIMA. You are someone looking for a role that involves getting out and around the business and under the bonnet of the P&L.
Loads of scope to progress in a business that will double in size in the next 36 months.
Working for a modern, approachable and encouraging Head of FP&A who can outline a clear roadmap to career development and progression.
Required:
- Firm fundamental accounting skills and understanding.
- Excellent Excel / analytical skills (knowledge of Power BI would be super useful)
- AAT / An accounting degree as a minimum.
- Great interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and positive approach to solving new problems and learning new tasks.
- Initiative - willingness to get behind the P&L by speaking to colleagues.
