This rewarding role involves responding to emergency alarm activations from vulnerable residents across the borough, ensuring they receive timely support, care, and reassurance.Key Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly to emergency alarm calls in residents’ homes.
  • Provide immediate support, assess needs, and escalate concerns appropriately.
  • Communicate effectively with emergency services, family members, and healthcare professionals.
  • Complete clear and accurate reports following each incident.
  • Support residents with compassion, dignity, and respect at all times.
Working Pattern
  • 3 days on, 3 days off rota
  • Shifts are either:
    • 6:00am – 2:00pm
    • 2:00pm – 10:00pm
  • Average 26.25 hours per week
Requirements
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Experience working with vulnerable adults—particularly older people or those with additional needs.
  • Confidence to work independently and make quick, sound decisions in emergency situations.
  • Calm, compassionate, and professional demeanour.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
