Hire Co-ordinator and Scheduler

Located in Armthorpe, near Doncaster, our client is the premier hire supplier of Vacuum Excavators to the UK construction industry.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Hire Co-ordinator and Scheduler.

Working within the Operations Team and reporting to the Operations Director, the Hire Co-ordinator and Scheduler will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling hire activities related to various projects in different sectors.

This role involves maintaining schedules and communicating with different teams.  

This is a shift based role working either 6.30am to 2.30pm or 10.30am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday, on a two week rota.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to prioritise and multi-task effectively
  • Experience in scheduling or project coordination
  • Knowledge of the sectors our client operates in is a plus
  • Proficiency in relevant IT software and tools for scheduling
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of the transportation or equipment rental industry is a plus
