Salary: £95-£100 per day Location: DN4Role: temporary

I am currently looking for an experienced and passionate HLTA to support a wonderful school in the DN4 area of Doncaster. This role is exclusive to me and is to work within a Multi-Academy Trust school with whom we have developed a strong working relationship.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Lead whole class teaching activities, following plans set out by the class teacher.
  • Assist with lesson planning and the preparation of teaching materials.
  • Support the delivery of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum, with an emphasis on phonics.
  • Provide targeted support to children with SEND/SEMH on a 1:1 basis, as needed.
  • Assess student progress and report back to teachers and parents.
  • Contribute to a safe and stimulating learning environment for all children.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must hold a relevant HLTA qualification.
  • Experience in leading whole class teaching is essential.
  • Some lesson planning experience is desirable.
  • A good understanding of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum, including phonics.
  • Experience in supporting children with SEND/SEMH on a 1:1 basis is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
