Are you a passionate educator with experience in Lower Key Stage 2? Are you ready to inspire young minds and make a difference in primary education? We are seeking a dedicated LKS2 Teacher to join a supportive primary school in Doncaster, starting in January 2024.



About the Role:

As an LKS2 Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education to students in Year 3 and Year 4. Working closely with a collaborative team, you will create engaging lesson plans, foster a positive learning environment, and support students in achieving their academic goals. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners and be part of a vibrant school community.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports all students
  • Use varied teaching methods to engage pupils and cater to different learning styles
  • Collaborate with colleagues, including teaching assistants, to ensure the best support for students
  • Attend meetings, parents' evenings, and other professional activities as required
  • Continuously monitor, track, and support pupil progress


Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and proven experience in a primary school setting
  • Strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, with experience in Year 3 or Year 4 being advantageous
  • Excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
  • A creative approach to lesson planning and enthusiasm for helping young learners succeed
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a collaborative approach
