Job Title: Sprayshop ManagerLocation: Epworth, DN9Hourly Pay Rate: £15.50 - £16.50 per hourHours: 08:00- 16:30 Monday - Thursday 08:00- 15:30 FridayContract: PermanentGi Group Recruitment are now seeking to appoint an experienced Sprayshop Manager to join one of our prestigious clients in Epworth. The role of the Sprayshop Manager is to maximise the throughput through the sprayshop whilst maintaining the highest levels of quality, health and safety. To work as part of the production management team to continuously improve all operations, competence, processes, and procedures. To work closely with other departments to ensure effective and constructive communication.Duties of the Sprayshop Manager:* Order Review working closely with Factory Scheduler.* Assist management with disciplinaries, return to work meetings, and production meetings.* Ensure the highest levels of quality throughout, rejecting poor quality when necessary.* Training employees to diversify skills in department.* Training new employees in the sprayshop.* Plan / organise sprayshop workload in advance for each week.* Increase efficiency of department.* Corrective/Preventative action - work with all departments to prevent wasted/down time.* Ensure maintenance is carried out correctly and on time, ensuring they are clean and safe.* Ensure Health and Safety practices are observed.* Spray shop and paint stores to be maintained in line with permits, ensuring correct stock levels, using old stock before new and out of date stock is disposed of correctly.* Any other reasonable duties that might be needed from time to time to assist the company in attaining its business objectives.Experience Required:* Experience managing and motivating staff.* Previous experience in a sprayshop environment.* Knowledge of Health & Safety processes.* Excellent eye for detail and quality.* Willingness to build a career with a strong team and work ethic.Benefits:* Staff pension scheme with employer contributions.* Training, development, career prospects, family run business with a strong team ethic.* Health cash plan.Hiring Contact: Martin HillAgency: GI Group RecruitmentIf you would like any further information about any vacancies before applying, please feel free to contact or call .
