GSL Education South Yorkshire are currently seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teacher to undertake a position at one of our client Primary or Secondary schools. The school is looking for someone who can start ASAP.
About the Teaching Role:- Within the context of the school's curriculum and schemes of work, plan and teach lessons to the classes they are assigned to teach.
- Maintain a thorough and up-to-date knowledge of the teaching.
- Assess, monitor, record, and report on the learning needs, progress, and achievements of assigned pupils.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of the school’s policies, practices, and procedures in such a way as to support the school’s values, ethos, and vision.
- Set and mark regular homework.
- Be a qualified Teacher (ideally with PGCE, GTP, B.Ed, Cert Ed, or BA with QTS).
- Demonstrate recent experience as a Teacher or Trainee Teacher in a Primary or Secondary School.
- Understand teaching, learning, and assessment strategies.
- Collaborate within various subject teams to contribute to the department's success.
- Have a strong understanding of the curriculum and factors contributing to the learning experience of pupils.
- Must have an enhanced child workforce DBS or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
