Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking a HSE Manager for a global engineering and design company based in the UK, with a salary ranging from £50,000 to £60,000 per year.
The position requires candidates to have at least 5 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management, particularly in heavy engineering sectors.
The role is hybrid, based in either Yorkshire or the North East, but requires flexibility for travel to construction sites both in the UK and overseas.
Key responsibilities include maintaining ISO management systems, conducting audits, performing risk assessments, and leading safety training initiatives.
Candidates should possess a NEBOSH Construction Certificate or be working towards a Diploma, with experience in capital projects and an understanding of relevant regulations like CDM and COMAH.

Elevation Recruitment Group are partnered with a global engineering, design & build company who are currently looking to recruit a HSE Manager. The company offers advanced, bespoke solutions for heavy engineering businesses currently employing around 300 heads in the UK.

The role can be based out of either Yorkshire or the North East on a hybrid basis but requires flexibility to travel and undertake inspections on construction sites overseas and within UK. Duties & responsibilities:

Maintenance of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems
To lead and influence behaviours to change existing culture and move towards a behavioural EH&S system and sustainable business model
Provision of and monitoring of EHS risks, strategy and plans to ensure the necessary action is taken to meet the outlined requirements
To conduct internal audits and to lead and participate in external audits
Carry out and review specific task risk assessments
Investigate accidents and incidents
Creation and delivery of toolbox talks
Monitoring of UK EHS legislation
Completion of practical training and toolbox talks

I'm keen to speak HSE Professionals with the following skillset:

NEBOSH Construction Certificate or working towards Diploma
Experience of working with capital and preferably turnkey projects
CDM Experience
Understanding of COMAH regulations
Experience of management systems and auditing
Product safety experience desirable
