Staff One are looking for Grade 5 care assistants to work across 2 respite care home sites in the Doncaster area.
This exciting position offers a salary of £23,107 plus and 8.5% all-inclusive allowance, you will also have access to a variety of attractive employee benefits including competitive leave entitlement, a generous local government pension scheme, a wide range of well-being support and development opportunities and a range of staff discount and benefits schemes.
The post is 30 hours per week, You will need to work in a flexible manner on a rota which includes evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
You will provide person-centred care and support to service users within a short stay respite service, have skills in positive communication and engagement and will be able to demonstrate unconditional positive regard for the people you support. The knowledge of residential and day care settings, enabling services, Learning Disabilities, safeguarding adults, health and safety Data protection and a basic knowledge of the core principles of CQC is essential within this role.
