We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Biology Teacher for a full-time position at a well-regarded secondary school in the Doncaster area. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to join a supportive and forward-thinking team, delivering high-quality lessons to inspire the next generation of scientists.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Biology lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students
  • Prepare students for GCSE exams, ensuring a deep understanding of the curriculum
  • Create a positive learning environment, fostering curiosity and academic growth
  • Assess, monitor, and provide constructive feedback to help students achieve their full potential
  • Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities or mentoring


Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Biology at the secondary school level, ideally to GCSE level
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching science
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • DBS check or willingness to undergo a new check
