Are you interested in lecturing jobs in the South Yorkshire area? We're working with a fantastic college who are currently recruiting for Lecturer in English (GCSE).
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Teach across all levels and abilities, including GCSE to 16+
- Inspire and engage pupils, fostering curiosity, interest, and enjoyment in English.
- Ensure all pupils have equal access to English and experience success in their work.
- Develop students' familiarity, competence, and confidence with key English concepts, principles, methods, and vocabulary.
- Dedicate extra time when needed to help students reach their highest potential.
- Contribute to departmental responsibilities as required.
Skills and Requirements:
- Right to work in the UK.
- A UK-recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, DTLLS, Cert Ed, or equivalent) is ideal.
- Must have experience and quals to deliver up to GCSE English to 16+
- Qualification (min L3 in English).
- Up-to-date knowledge of current teaching techniques and topics in English instruction.
- Excellent spoken and written English language skills.
- Experience delivering English instruction.
