SOCIAL SCIENCES TEACHER REQUIRED

Location: Doncaster

Start Date: February 25

Contract: Long-term to July, with the possibility of extension

Competitive daily rates:

170-230 for qualified teachers

130-150 for unqualified teachers or cover supervisors

We are seeking a qualified Social Sciences Teacher to join a well-regarded school in the Doncaster area. The school holds a 'Good' Ofsted rating and offers a supportive and positive environment for both staff and students.

Requirements:

  • Must hold QTS or have solid experience in teaching Social Sciences.
  • Must have enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver lessons for psychology and criminology students. KS5.
  • Assess student understanding through a variety of assessment methods and provide constructive feedback to support their progress.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, professional development opportunities.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, maintaining a safe and conducive learning environment.
