Elevation HR are excited to be working with a national charity as they look to appoint a HR Advisor on a remote basis on a 12 month fixed term contract.This is a newly created role due to the growth of the charity with potential for the role to go permanent after the first initial 12 months. Reporting into the ER Manager, the role will focus on employee relations and project work surrounding TUPE transfers supporting circa 1700 employees. As a HR advisor, your role will include:
- Coaching and advising managers on day to day ER cases including sickness absence and performance management over teams and phone calls
- Managing an ER caseload including absence management, investigations, disciplinaries and grievances
- Leading on occupational health referrals
- Supporting Business Partners with projects as required such as TUPE transfers
- Advising managers on correct policies and procedures

The ideal HR Advisor candidate will have:
- Strong understanding of Employment Law
- Be immediately available or have a short notice period (Less than 1 month)
- Previous experience managing an ER caseload
- Ideally hold a CIPD qualification or working towards this
- Experience within charity, healthcare, NHS or local authority setting would be beneficial
