Questech are recruiting on behalf of a company we are working with based in Doncaster. They have a high reputation and are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join thier team
Role Responsibilities:
- Routine and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems and machinery.
- Hard face Welding
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to improve equipment reliability and performance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, preferably within a heavy engineering environment.
- Apprentice trained NVQ L3 or equivalent
- Experience with gearboxes, hydraulics, conveyors, motors
- Welding experience
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and manuals.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
