Your new companyWe're looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Insurance Manager to join our team. You'll play a crucial role in evaluating risks, securing the right insurance coverage, and ensuring efficient claims handling. If you're passionate about risk management and insurance, this is the perfect opportunity for you! Your new roleIn this role, you'll assist the Group Head of Risk & Insurance with renewal information, analyse insurance products, recommend ratings and insurers, identify and manage new insurable risks, oversee the liability claims notification process, support the Insurance Team with large property claims, and keep procedures up-to-date. You'll also manage Bordereaux on Motor and Casualty Claims, make informed liability decisions, conduct quarterly meetings with liability claims handlers, provide detailed claims reports and analysis, ensure value for money and service from brokers, attend meetings with brokers and insurers, challenge unreasonable risk improvements, provide technical insurance advice, manage the renewal process for Group and PFI insurances, and attend internal meetings to communicate insurance and claims positions. What you'll need to succeedWe're looking for someone with experience in a similar role or has worked within a claims, broking or underwriting capacity in the industry. You will have strong analytical and decision-making skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a proactive approach to risk management and claims handling.
