Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to students and staff.
  • Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times.
  • Work effectively as part of a team in a busy kitchen environment managing a team of Catering Assistants.
  • Use your initiative to handle tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Maintain stock levels and assist with inventory management.
  • Manage staff rotas and be able to delegate tasks effectively.

About You:

  • You have experience as a School Catering Assistant within a busy school kitchen or similar environment.
  • You are reliable, punctual, and able to work under pressure.
  • You have strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • You have food health and safety qualification - essential.
  • You are able to commute to Doncaster.
