Sonic Summary

We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator / Paint Sprayer for a client in Thorne (DN8).
The role involves operating and maintaining spray machines, ensuring high-quality production, and handling materials.
The pay is £15.53 per hour plus a £1 shift allowance for afternoon shifts, with overtime available at 1.5x pay on weekdays and 2x on Sundays.
Candidates should have experience with paint spray machines and wood prep machinery, along with the ability to set/program CNC machines.
The position requires a strong attention to detail, physical fitness for a fast-paced environment, and basic computer skills.

We are recruiting on behalf of our client in Thorne (DN8) for an experienced Machine Operator / Paint Sprayer to join their team. Youll be responsible for operating, maintaining, and preparing spray machines, handling materials, and ensuring high quality production.

Pay -£15.53 per hour + £1 shift allowance for afters
40 hours per week

Overtime when available:
1.5x pay (Mon-Sat) | 2x pay (Sunday)

Rotating Shifts:

Days:Mon Fri: 06:00 14:00
Afternoons:Mon Thurs: 14:00 00:00

Key Responsibilities:

Paint Preparation & Mixing Work with water based & solvent based paints.
Run and maintain Cefla & Sorbini paint spray machines.
Inspect and ensure top tier finish on products.
Assist in loading/unloading, packing, and general duties.
Maintain clean working areas and follow Health & Safety protocols.
Contribute to process improvements and team training.

What Were Looking For:

Experience with paint spray machines & wood prep machinery.
Knowledge of water based & solvent based paints (ideally for wood, MDF, foil substrates).
Ability to set/programme CNC machines.
Strong attention to quality and detail.
Physically fit and able to work in a fast paced environment.
Basic computer skills & ability to follow written instructions.
