Paint Sprayer – Doncaster

We are seeking a skilled Paint Sprayer to join our team in Doncaster on a permanent basis with a leading manufacturer known for producing high-quality products. If you have experience with ACPU and water-based paints and a background in shop fitting, joinery, engineering, or automotive PDI, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • Annual Leave: 32 days, including bank holidays.
  • Benefits Package: Westfield Health cover and company pension scheme
  • Overtime: Guaranteed 5 hours per week paid at time and a quarter
  • Early Friday Finish

As a Paint Sprayer, you will be responsible for preparing, mixing, and applying ACPU and water-based paints to achieve a flawless finish on a range of products. Working closely with a skilled team, your attention to detail in sanding, prepping, lacquering, and painting will be essential to maintaining the high standards our clients expect.

Key Responsibilities:

Paint Mixing: Prepare and mix ACPU and water-based paints to the required specifications.

Preparation and Sanding: Thoroughly prep and sand surfaces for optimal paint adhesion and a smooth finish.

Application: Apply paint using spray equipment, ensuring an even, high-quality finish across various products.

Lacquering: Apply lacquer coats to protect and enhance the appearance of finished surfaces.

Quality Control: Inspect all completed work to ensure it meets quality and specification standards.

Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on spray equipment and report any issues, as necessary.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience as a paint sprayer in shop fitting, joinery, engineering, or automotive PDI sectors.
  • Familiar with ACPU and water-based paints and skilled in mixing to exact specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to producing high-quality finishes.
  • Physically fit, with experience in manual tasks such as sanding and prepping.

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm; Friday, 8:00 am – 3:30 pm

Guaranteed overtime of 5 hours each week, paid at time and a quarter.
