Description
The Commercial Solicitor will be:?
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts, including IT agreements.?
- Providing comprehensive legal advice to stakeholders across the organisation.?
- Assisting with procurement processes to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.?
- Advising on consumer law matters relevant to the retail industry.?
- Managing litigation cases and coordinating with external counsel as needed.?
- Ensuring adherence to regulatory compliance standards and company policies.?
- Developing and updating internal policies and procedures to reflect current legislation.
Profile
The Commercial Solicitor should be:?
- A solicitor or equivalent with 4+ years PQE.?
- Experienced in general commercial law, particularly in handling IT contracts.?
- Proficient in providing legal advice within a corporate environment.?
- Knowledgeable about consumer law and regulatory compliance in the retail sector.?
- Skilled in managing litigation and coordinating with external legal advisors.
