Are you an experienced Family Law Solicitor looking to advance your career within a reputable and growing law firm? Our client, a prestigious firm with offices across Truro, Newcastle, Doncaster, and Peterborough, is seeking dedicated and highly skilled Family Law Solicitors to join their dynamic team.

The Role:

As a Family Law Solicitor, you will be responsible for delivering expert legal advice on a variety of family law matters. You will handle a diverse caseload, including but not limited to:

  • Divorce and separation
  • Child custody and visitation rights
  • Financial settlements
  • Domestic violence cases
  • Prenuptial and postnuptial agreements
  • Co-habitation disputes

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and progressing family law cases from initial instruction through to conclusion.
  • Providing tailored advice to clients in person, by telephone, or online.
  • Liaising with courts, barristers, and other professionals to ensure successful case outcomes.
  • Conducting negotiations and representing clients in mediation or court when necessary.
  • Maintaining accurate case records and adhering to relevant compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Engaging in business development activities to contribute to the firms growth and reputation.

About You:

  • A qualified Solicitor with 2+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in family law.
  • Proven track record in handling a broad range of family law cases independently.
  • Strong advocacy and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage client expectations effectively.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and time-management skills.
  • A client-focused approach with a high level of empathy and professionalism.
  • Knowledge of relevant legal frameworks, legislation, and procedural requirements in family law.
