Description
The In-House Commercial Solicitor will be:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, including IT agreements and NDAs.
- Advising on data protection legislation and ensuring compliance across the organisation.
- Providing strategic legal advice to internal stakeholders, identifying and mitigating risks.
- Managing consumer law compliance, including litigation and small claims.
- Supporting the Group Procurement team on RFPs, contract terms, and management.
Profile
The In-House Commercial Solicitor should be:
- A solicitor or equivalent with 2-4 commercial PQE.
- Experienced in IT contracts (e.g., SaaS, AI) and data protection compliance.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
- Commercially aware, with strong organisational and communication skills.
- Previous in-house experience or financial services exposure is desirable.
