The Quality Engineer will be responsible for auditing production processes, monitoring, inspecting, and proposing measures to correct or improve the company's final products and processes in order to meet established quality standards.  This is a business that strive for and support the pursuit of manufacturing excellence and is well suited to passionate quality engineers looking to engage in this kind of culture.  As Quality Engineer, key responsibilities will include:
  • Auditing production Processes
  • Supporting Finished Goods Audit processes
  • Preparing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Identifying, engaging with and resolving workflow and production issues.
  • Working in Cross functional teams supporting NPI processes and 8D investigations to identify root causes
  • Creation of training materials and operating manuals in line with new processes / procedures
  • Participating & contributing in PFMEA workshops
  • Creating Quality Control Plans
The Quality Engineer will ideally have:
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with lean tools, 6 Sigma or Automotive improvement techniques
  • Strong and demonstrable team-working across departments
  • Strong ISO systems knowledge
  • Demonstrable background within manufacturing businesses with ongoing NPI considerations.
  • Experienced in supporting the delivery of continuous improvement initiatives.
  • A can-do approach, with the ability to work on their own initiative.
