Full time, Permanent (Based in iPort, Doncaster)

We're looking for a Yard Supervisor to supervise and manage all aspects of Yard and Railside Operations and drive high performance and efficiency amongst the operational teams.

The role will have a fully flexible working pattern but predominantly working a day shift, they may be required to cover, at short notice, extra hours or shifts as required.

How you will help us and what you can expect

• Process operational invoices, ensuring all costs are posted accurately.
• Assist with the implementation of new financial systems and procedures within the team.
• Provide direct support to the Management Accountant as required.
• Resolve all Purchase Invoice queries in a swift confident manner and liaise with the Supervisor where necessary to adhere to KPI deadlines.
• Ensure all operational losses are recorded accurately.

Skills and experience you'll bring to us

• Minimum 2 years previous experience in Container / Rail Terminal Operations
• Ability to work flexibly and manage hours accordingly
• An ability to contribute and lead a continuous improvement methodology
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to effectively communicate and influence at all levels
• A professional, positive and flexible attitude and the ability to implement through others with solution driven and pragmatic problem solving
• A clear knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel)
• An experienced leader capable of mentoring and developing a high performing and skilled team
