Description
- Perform regular maintenance checks and repairs on machinery and production lines.
- Minimise downtime by swiftly resolving breakdowns and technical issues.
- Ensure all equipment is compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Work closely with the production team to implement new machinery and systems.
- Provide technical support and training to junior staff members.
- Assist in the development of maintenance protocols and procedures.
- Investigate and implement cost-saving and efficiency measures.
- Collaborate with the wider Engineering & Manufacturing team on broader projects.
Profile
A successful Maintenance Engineer should have:
- A qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think on their feet.
- Experience with mechanical and electrical systems commonly used in manufacturing.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
