We are looking for a proactive and experienced On Site Account Manager to lead a team of approximately 120 warehouse staff across multiple sites in the Doncaster area, potentially increasing to 250 staff. In this role, you will ensure high performance, adherence to health and safety standards, and effective team management. This is an exciting opportunity to be employed by C9 recruitment, providing services to one of our national clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and motivate a team of warehouse staff to meet performance targets and KPIs.
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of team members, ensuring the workforce is skilled and flexible across all sites.
- Ensure health and safety compliance and assist in maintaining high operational standards.
- Provide strong leadership, foster a positive working environment, and ensure effective communication across all levels.
- Manage absence, performance reviews, and conduct disciplinary actions in line with company policies.
- Collaborate with site management to address operational needs and adjust staffing levels as required.
Salary - £32,000 - £35,000 per annum
Key Requirements:
- Strong leadership and people management experience, particularly in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation and performance management.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work with multiple shift patterns and varying team needs.
