Fabricator and Maintenance Engineer

Experience Level:Level 3 Fabricator with G/F Mig experience; Tig experience preferred

Our client is seeking a skilled Fabricator and Maintenance Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabricating structural metal work.

Fabrication:

  • Manufacture structural metal work using guillotine, folding, rolling, and welding equipment.
  • Assist in the design and development of products for ongoing production.
  • Ensure high-quality finishing of prodcuts with attention to detail.

Maintenance:

  • Perform general maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and breakdowns.
  • Assist in developing and implementing preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
  • Analyse and troubleshoot repair requests.
  • Perform installations, assemblies, fittings, repairs, and replacements as required.
  • Handle emergency maintenance and repairs.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of maintenance activities.

Additional Duties:

  • Perform basic plumbing and electrical tasks.
  • Flexibility to work off-site or make deliveries as needed.
  • Use basic computer skills to manage emails and access the internet.
  • Attend job training and safety programs organized by Management/HR.
  • Adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards.
  • Execute maintenance tasks based on blueprints, pictures, written descriptions, and verbal instructions from Management.
