ResponsibilitiesYour role will be to focus on Mechanical Maintenance in the factory, including: Supportive various equipment and machinery across their factory, dealing with and overcoming problems in a fast paced environment.Working through a planned preventative maintenance program as well as project and continuous improvement work.There is a lot of future planned projects involving upgrades and refurbs that all Engineers get a hand in doing.Reactive maintenance, working at pace attending to and resolving breakdowns swiftly and getting production lines back up and running again.Dealing with belts, bearings, motors, gears, pumps, chains, hydraulics, pneumatics etc.Any workshop skills will come in handy, ideally welding in MIG.RequirementsCompleted a recognised Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship or hold Mechanical Engineering qualifications Experience with mechanical maintenance or mechanical fitting work, within an industrial and/or manufacturing environmentMachinery maintenance experienceAny experience of belts, chains, bearings, pumps, motors, gears, hydraulics, pneumatics would be desirableAny MIG welding experience would be desirable, along with any machining experience too but not essentialHeavy manufacturing background desirable but not required.
