As an Administrator, you will be required to:

  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of policies and audit their implementation throughout the establishment.
  • Develop the Administrative service through regular monitoring, discussions, and design and implementation of processes to improve the service.
  • Ensure efficient information processes for student referrals, administration, progress, and transfer, as well as personnel management.
  • Prepare draft reports for the Principal and ensure high standards for all reports, correspondence, and routine information.
  • Plan and implement with other managers, including obtaining and analyzing information to support decision-making.
  • Track student referrals and maintain up-to-date records.
  • Organize and support meetings and events, ensuring necessary arrangements for travel, accommodation, venues, catering, and communication.
  • Maintain a programme of student reviews to meet management team requirements.
  • Manage the ISO 9002 quality process and ensure accreditation is maintained.
  • Ensure administrative practices conform to the Data Protection Act 1998.

  • Promote effective working relationships across the establishment.
  • Lead the Administrative team effectively, including direct line management and promoting a culture of reflective practice.
  • Manage internal and external communication systems, ensuring high quality and professional interactions.
  • Lead the recruitment and selection process for all staff.
  • Coordinate the supervision and appraisal programme and manage staff absence.
  • Oversee the salary review process for all employees.
  • Manage all accounts and accounting procedures.
  • Ensure resources and facilities required for the administrative service are identified, acquired, and well-maintained.
  • Attend work reliably and punctually.
  • Protect students/residents and others from abuse, reporting any incidents.
  • Continuously develop your own practice, identifying and addressing training and development needs.
  • Take reasonable care for health and safety, complying with safety rules and procedures.
