Our client is a leading Managed Services Provider (MSP) committed to delivering top-notch IT solutions and support to their clients. They cover everything from Desktop IT Support, leading Cyber Security Solutions, Cloud Services, IT & Infrastructure Installations and more. They are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Account Manager to join their team and help maintain and expand client relationships.

Job Summary:

The Account Manager will be responsible for managing client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for business growth within existing accounts and new business. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT services, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in account management for an MSP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients, addressing their needs and ensuring their satisfaction with current services.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders within client organisations.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional services to existing clients.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and review meetings with clients to discuss their IT needs and performance.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop proposals and present new solutions to clients.
  • Monitor client accounts to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Prepare regular reports on account status, including key metrics, client feedback, and service performance.
  • Analyse client data to provide insights and recommendations for improving service delivery and client satisfaction.

Experience & requirements:

  • Previous experience in account management, within the IT Sector
  • Proven track record of managing and growing client accounts.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle client issues proactively.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a drive to achieve and exceed targets.
  • A Full UK Driving licence is required as some travel will be required in this role
