About the Role:
Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Music Teacher seeking your next opportunity? We are working with a well-respected secondary school in the Doncaster area that is seeking a passionate Music Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis. This role is ideal for an experienced teacher or an NQT looking to make a positive impact on students' musical education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Music lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
- Plan, prepare, and assess engaging and dynamic lessons that inspire students' creativity and understanding of music.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and passion for the subject.
- Organise and participate in school concerts, performances, and extracurricular activities related to music.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and adhere to the school's policies and guidelines.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the creative arts department to ensure a well-rounded music program.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Music at the secondary school level (KS3/KS4).
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching.
- Ability to engage and inspire students of varying abilities.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- A commitment to the safeguarding and wellbeing of students.
