Role and Responsibilities of a Health & Safety Compliance Coordinator
- Maintain the training register, issue training and toolbox talks (TBTs), and ensure sign-off. Conduct staff inductions when needed.
- Arrange flights and accommodation as required.
- Keep maintenance schedules, records, and remedial actions up-to-date.
- Perform general admin duties like scanning, filing, and accident reporting.
- Review site machinery check sheets and ensure safety compliance (LOLER, PAT testing, Legionella, etc.).
- Assist with incident reporting and investigations.
- Help prepare compliance reports, manage documents, and respond to department emails.
- Assist with personal protective equipment (PPE), respiratory protective equipment (RPE), and first aid management.
- Take notes in health and safety meetings and audits.
- Manage van packs and relevant information.
- Coordinate with subcontractors on-site.
- Step in for the Compliance Technical Document Writer when needed.
- Provide support for any other health and safety-related duties.
Requirements of a Health & Safety Compliance Coordinator
- IOSH
- Incident management and investigation experience (desirable)
- Willingness to participate in Continuous Professional Development
- Attention to Detail
Hours of a Health & Safety Compliance Coordinator
Monday to Thursday - 8am-5pm
Fridays - 8am-4.30pm
