Role and Responsibilities of a Health & Safety Compliance Coordinator

  • Maintain the training register, issue training and toolbox talks (TBTs), and ensure sign-off. Conduct staff inductions when needed.
  • Arrange flights and accommodation as required.
  • Keep maintenance schedules, records, and remedial actions up-to-date.
  • Perform general admin duties like scanning, filing, and accident reporting.
  • Review site machinery check sheets and ensure safety compliance (LOLER, PAT testing, Legionella, etc.).
  • Assist with incident reporting and investigations.
  • Help prepare compliance reports, manage documents, and respond to department emails.
  • Assist with personal protective equipment (PPE), respiratory protective equipment (RPE), and first aid management.
  • Take notes in health and safety meetings and audits.
  • Manage van packs and relevant information.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors on-site.
  • Step in for the Compliance Technical Document Writer when needed.
  • Provide support for any other health and safety-related duties.

Requirements of a Health & Safety Compliance Coordinator

  • IOSH
  • Incident management and investigation experience (desirable)
  • Willingness to participate in Continuous Professional Development
  • Attention to Detail

Hours of a Health & Safety Compliance Coordinator

Monday to Thursday - 8am-5pm

Fridays - 8am-4.30pm
