Community Caretaker

Duration: Temporary role

Hours: 9:00am - 17:00pm

Pay Rate:£13.05 Per hour

We are currently working with one of the leading local authorities who are looking for an experienced Community Caretaker to help support with over 19,000 homes in the city of Doncaster.

Job Role:

  • To work with a tenancy and estate management team to provide an effective management service to residents.
  • Keeping all relevant areas clean, tidy, safe and well maintained.
  • Liaise with multiple teams to practically manage work loads.
  • Preparing vacant dwellings to the local and ethical property standard.
  • To work and comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining service standards at all times.
  • Work with deadlines and target set.
  • Work with a fast paced and emergency situations when required.
  • To support a campaign of keeping all land and assets well maintained by carrying out general gardening duties.

Key person specification:

  • Be able to work in ways which reflect the company values.
  • Have a full UK driving licence - Must be happy to drive provided vehicles.
  • Able to work with a high paced environment.
  • BE able to use own Initiative and pro-actively identify any incomplete tasks.
  • Having the relevant qualifications in the use of horticultural equipment would be advantageous
  • A full knowledge of Health and safety relevant to the role is imperative.
  • Experience working in a manual role.
  • Experience in all aspects of gardening and DIY.
