About the Role:

We are excited to offer a full-time position for a Teacher of Secondary Design Technology at our highly regarded Academy. Starting in January, you will play a crucial role in delivering an engaging and comprehensive curriculum that spans Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5. Your responsibilities will include:

Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in Design Technology, including specialisms such as Engineering and Construction.

Encouraging students to develop practical skills, creative thinking, and problem-solving abilities through hands-on projects and theoretical knowledge.

Assessing student work and progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic and personal growth.

Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and participate in departmental and whole-school initiatives.

About You:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Design Technology or a related field.

Experience teaching Design Technology at secondary level, with a strong track record of student achievement.

Enthusiastic about fostering a love for design and technology in students of all abilities.

Excellent communication skills and a commitment to creating a supportive and dynamic learning environment.
