Salary: £94 to £115 per day (Depending on experience)

If so, GSL Education are seeking Cover Supervisors (CS) to support KS3 and KS4 students in schools across Doncaster. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals considering a career in teaching or those with experience working with young people.

Role Overview:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will take charge of classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring that students remain on task and engaged with pre-planned lessons. You will manage classroom behaviour, provide guidance to students, and maintain a productive learning environment.

Cover Supervisor (CS) Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials across a variety of subjects.
• Maintain high expectations of behaviour and learning within the classroom.
• Ensure students remain engaged and focused on their tasks.
• Offer support and guidance to students while upholding school policies.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff and school leadership.

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience working with young people in an educational or mentoring capacity.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• A passion for supporting student learning and development.
• A proactive and adaptable approach to working in different subjects and settings.
• A degree or equivalent qualification is beneficial but not essential.
