We are seeking an experienced Year 6 Teacher to join a 'good' school with excellent facilities and an inclusive team atmosphere. This temporary position is ideal for a dedicated professional who has experience with SATS and is looking for a rewarding teaching role.
Day-to-day of the role:- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the needs of Year 6 students.
- Assess and record students’ progress, preparing them effectively for SATS.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to enhance their learning.
- Collaborate with fellow staff members to create a supportive and dynamic educational environment.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, maintaining a positive and focused classroom atmosphere.
- Proven experience as a Year 6 Teacher, particularly with SATS preparation.
- Must hold an Enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one.
- Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage time and resources effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A commitment to inclusive education and the ability to adapt teaching methods to cater for diverse learning needs.
- Competitive daily rate of £130 - £150.
