School Caretaker - Immediate Start

Location: Doncaster - with excellent transport links just off the M18 motorway.

Are you a dedicated and reliable individual looking to make a difference in a school community? We are seeking a committed School Caretaker to join our team of support staff at a secondary school based on the outskirts of Doncaster for a full-time, long-term role.

Position: School Caretaker, Doncaster basedHours: Alternating weekly shifts

• Week 1: 6:00 am - 2:00 pm
• Week 2: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm

Salary: £90.00 - £110.00 per day (depending on experience and shift patterns)

Key Responsibilities:

• General maintenance and upkeep of the school premises
• Ensuring the school grounds are safe, clean, and welcoming; sweeping, litter picking, emptying bins etc.
• Basic repair work and liaising with contractors when necessary
• Opening and closing the school, including security checks
• Assisting with the setup of school events and activities

What We Are Looking For:

• Previous experience as a School Caretaker or in a maintenance role (preferred but not essential)
• A proactive approach to work with excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
• A commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment for students and staff
• Able to commute to Doncaster
