Experienced Payroll Assistant required for a large, innovative business based in Doncaster.

This is a maternity cover for 12 months and requires an immediate start.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager the purpose of the Payroll Assistant is to assist with accurate input and checking for payroll processes:

  • Processing end-to-end payroll for over 2,000 employees including bonuses, overtime, salary changes etc.
  • Dealing with all employee queries.
  • Recording and monitoring sick SSP, SMP, SP etc.
  • Administering pensions and benefits.
  • Ensuring processes and procedures are adhered to.
  • Other ad hoc duties as required.

The person:

  • Previous experience in processing end-to-end payroll is essential.
  • Good IT skills are required.
  • You must be able to prioritise your workload and meet deadlines.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills are essential.
