Payroll OfficerDoncaster, South Yorkshire Elevation Recruitment Accountancy & Finance have an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual to join our client's Payroll Team based in Doncaster. 

This position offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled Payroll Officer who is passionate about providing excellent customer service and working collaboratively with the Payroll and HR functions.Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage all aspects of the monthly payroll cycle in a timely and accurate manner, including calculating deductions, handling new hires and terminations, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
  • Administer employee benefits, such as health insurance, company cars, and other benefits
  • Prepare and maintain accurate payroll records and reports
  • Analyse and resolve payroll and benefit-related queries, effectively communicating with colleagues across the business to ensure a high standard of employee experience

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Comprehensive understanding and experience in payroll processing and legislation
  • Strong administrative skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Previous experience with payroll software is desirable
