Payroll SpecialistDoncasterElevation Accountancy and Finance are recruiting for a large logistics company based at their Doncaster office. Our client is looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist on a permanent basis.This is a great opportunity for someone available from the start of 2025 to join a global company in the payroll team to gain valuable experience running 3 different payrolls. The right candidate will have experience within a payroll department, can process starters, leavers, tax year end, has pension knowledge and can handle complex payroll queries. Responsibility of Payroll Specialist:

  • Day to day payroll services for the wider company
  • Processing variable claims, new starters, leavers, salary changes
  • Answer and resolve and queries from colleagues
  • Escalate any complex queries
  • Administration of any flexible benefits
  • Administration of company schemes
  • Statutory Sick Pay, Maternity and Paternity cover
  • Any other ad-hoc duties required

Background required for Payroll Specialist:

  • Experience in a Payroll Specialist position
  • Knowledge of the payroll process and related information such as pensions and statutory payroll information
  • Strong Excel skills
